A quick guide to SUV sizes
Size class is a starting point. The space inside your exact vehicle matters most.
Small SUV
Rear space is usually compact. Check usable length, wheel-arch width and clearance with the tailgate closed.
Compact SUV
Check how the rear seats fold, any step in the floor and the space behind the front seats.
Midsize SUV
Five-seat and seven-seat layouts can differ. Confirm which rows are folded and measure the resulting area.
Large SUV
Style L is the starting recommendation. Check captain’s-chair gaps, floor changes and the continuous support area.
